Finally FREE

Now and again I see or hear something I feel compelled to share with you all. This is one of these times. This video is the story of Dewey Bozella, a man wrongly convicted, who spent 26 years in prison. www.karmatube.org/videos.php?id=2568

When we talk about the fact that you may not have any control over events in your life, but you have ALL the control over how you respond to them...this is exactly what we are talking about. Dewey Bozella is a free man - he is now out of prison. Dewey Bozella was never imprisoned in any of the ways that truly matter. His heart, mind, and spirit have always been free to soar. He never allowed walls and bars to close him in or keep him from a life of fulfillment and real joy. He never succumbed to anger or bitterness. Remarkable!

God wants to work a miracle in your life. Never give up. Trust and believe. There is power in the waiting and expecting.

“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. “ – Micah 6:8

Blessings,
Beth

  1. Yes, this is something I am learning to do every day! I do not have control of the things that others say and do. I can only control how I act and think. I have learned to let things go, offer others up to God, and offer my suffering up. Someone once told me that I "give up my power" a lot to others. I feel much happier when I control myself and not try to control others and situations. I have learned through suffering to be happy and even grateful for what is.

  2. Amen Esmerelda! It is so liberating to be in a place where we can allow others to be and do - without that being the barometer for our own thoughts and feelings. Your "giving up my power" comment is interesting. Would love to hear more.
